we are all safe & sound here in haiti now. it's about 96F and super humid but it was a little cooler for mass this morning, which lasted for 2.5 hours. you can really see the african influence on haitian culture in the liturgy. when the gifts came up the central aisle of St. Michael's at mass they included a live goat on a roap, a chicken, plantains and mangos. it was pretty cool to see all that even for me on my 7th trip down here to Haiti. Please continue to pray for our health and safety...

wow... it was hot and difficult but what a great trip!!! I'd go with any of you guys again in a heartbeat. I wa proud to be a part of our first all KCHS mission trip to BC! patrick
