So, we made it to New York City albeit with a few delays. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with tickets to the Youth Rally in Yonkers and so we went with our Dominican sisters from St. Cecelia on their chartered bus to the seminary there. We weren't able to get onto the main field, but we got to see the Pope on a huge TV monitor, and I think almost all of us got to see Pope Benedict driving by in the Pope-Moblie. We are getting ready this morning to make our way to Yankee Stadium for mass today. We're all pretty worn out from walking and standing in long lines yesterday, but to have a seat to see him at mass will be fantastic. I'm thinking of all of you back in Knoxville and will try to pray throughout the day for our Holy Father's intentions, and for the high school. May God bless you all back home... It's off to the Subway in a few minutes... Have a great day!
This BLOG seeks to serve the entire community of our high school but places special emphasis on our students. The spirit, vision and intent this BLOG is to provide an alternative place to connect, encounter, and participate in knowing the Lord Jesus Christ within our Catholic tradition. "Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desire of your heart." Psalm 37:4
